Friday, January 19, 2007I'm back.. again. As you all know, i am still unemployed, thus, i have all the free time to blog. I'm actually waiting for the recruit express agent to send me am e-mail about the details for the interview, she said she'll send it yesterday or the day before but today, i have yet to recieve it. guess i'm going to call her later. =) You know, i use to think stayin at home was a bore, do nothing but turn yourself into a potato couch. Thankfully, i think i've learnt much more than just that. i'm doing housework!! haha. The thing about stayin at home and doing absolutely nothing just makes your imagination run wild, makes you think and think about the past. What you've done, why your've done some things, and how you've got it all wrong. Just makes you grow a little more i guess. I've been watching the oprah show on tv, its really interesting. Why so? It makes people realise how insecure we all are and that's where problems, especially in relationship go haywire. Take for example this episode that i watched. It was a congregation of about 6 husbands who have cheated on their wives and who may be still cheating on them. So Oprah was trying to find out why they cheat and how. And while they were all confessing "candidly"(some of them), their wives were watching backstage. The interesting thing was this, this guy said that approximately 99.9% of husbands cheat on their wives and the other 0.1% or so who say they aren't, are lying. Just imagine, the males saying that. It kind of shocked me a little. =X Then, all the wives joined their husbands on the show and oprah asked some questions. There's one in particular which i remembered cause it really struck me. She asked if any of the wives had looked up the mistresses, and one of them did, and she was saying something about wanting to see who this lady was to sort of break up their 18 years of marriage. Then this guy spoke up saying that people always see the mistresses as being the on at fault. Being the sly woman who goes around destroying people's marraige when the actualy fact is the men themselves who are at fault but they always make it sound as if they're the innocent party. And wives, who love their husbands and are unwilling to blame them naturally blame the mistresses. Also, it takes 2 hands to clap right, so for ur spouse to commit adultry means that there's something wrong in the relationship, somehow he isn't fully satisfied thus he finds someone else who can saatisfy it. So its both parties fault. After watching the show, i kind of have second thoughts about mistresses when i read about Singaporean men who commit adultry. Well, i'm off to watch another oprah show soon! =) And i just read something that really made my day. It's heartwarming to know that the ones you care about are doing well. =) Oh ya, i'm trying to plan a sec 4/7 gathering so go check ur e-mails if your're reading this ya. Take care!! |
